If someone Heidi loves was missing, she would blanket the city with missing person flyers! But once again, she wouldn't stop there. She would not only have a team of people covering every possible surface with flyers, but she would rent ad space on every billboard, bus, and park bench within the area.
While walking the streets with flyers is a pretty grueling task, it proved to be highly effective. We were definitely surprised when every person we stopped actually took the time to talk to us. They not only empathized with us, but offered to post, share, and spread the word. Of the hundreds of leads generated, at least a few proved helpful for Detectives.
Another BIG thank you to every person who cared enough to get involved, when walking away was definitely the easier option.
