If someone Heidi loves was missing, she would celebrate their birthday anyway! She would book their favorite restaurant, order the entire menu, and toast to their safe return. She would tip the staff generously and use it as an opportunity to bring awareness.
But again, she wouldn't stop there. She would make sure that the Detectives working hard to find her loved one, also knew it was their birthday. She would encourage them to keep going and remind them why the person they are looking for is so loved and so missed.
The strength, determination, and commitment the LAPD has shown over the past 6 months deserves to be recognized. Honoring their hard work on her birthday was really a special moment that will be cherished forever.
