If someone Heidi loves was missing, she would organize a Vigil. She would never call it a Vigil, but she would organize. Heidi has this way of bringing people together. Whether you've known her several months or several years, she makes you feel like you're the most important person in the room. This quality would undoubtedly motivate people to come together.
Listening to people gush over their love for Heidi, some who haven't seen or spoken to her in a decade and some who were a regular part of her every day life, is such a testament to who Heidi is and how she shows up every day. Even her every day acquaintances like her mailman, seamstress, and local gas station attendant expressed the love and light that she brings into their lives each day.
Regardless of how long you've known Heidi or perhaps you don't know her at all, we want to thank each and every person who showed up that evening. Coming together in that moment was exactly what we needed to gather the strength to keep going.
